Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 says,
"Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up."
This verse has always spoken to me. It is so important that we have other people in our life to keep us from falling, and we can also help others.
Along this journey, there will be many days that I will feel like giving in and throwing in the towel. There will also be days that I'm ready to conquer the world.
This is where you come in at. If you would like to help me on my journey, there is a few simple ways you can help.
1. Prayer: While this may be the most obvious of the ways to help, but it also the most important. I will need lots of prayer on this journey.
2. Encouraging E-Mail/Phone Call/Text Message etc: Along this journey things won't be easy and I know that. I am a person who values encouraging words. So please feel free to ask me how am doing and share your thoughts with me to help and encourage me along the way.
3. Accountability: If you see me doing something that may be deterring me from my goals feel free to remind me of this and let me know. I know for some that will be uncomfortable to do but for others it will be easy.
All of the ways listed above are things you can do if you would like to help me along this journey. If you live near me, you can also "schedule" a time to sit down and talk. It would be greatly appreciated. I will close this post with this verse. Proverbs 11:14 says,
"Where there is no guidance the people fall, But in abundance of counselors there is victory."
