It won't be easy... but it will be worth it!

My Goals

I have set down with some people that are much wiser than I and have come up with a three step goal plan, to make me well again. And here I will layout what that details.

1. Build a  personal support group - Hopefully this blog will help make that possible, but I want to have my own little support group. And what I mean by that is I want to find people who I can lean on to help support me in this endeavor because I can not do this alone, I have tried but no longer can I fight this battle alone.

2. Cut out soda - I reached a point where I was drinking at least 4 or 5 bottles of soda a day if not more. I relied on it for sugar and caffeine for energy. Cutting this out of my regular diet will allow me to take in less calories, as well as feel better.

3. Cut back on red meat - A majority of the things that I am eating that is bad for me contains red meat. Compared to white meat, red meat is very fatty, and can lead to problems, so I am going to cut it out to help trim down the fat.

4. No late night bites - Often times I will not even eat dinner till 9 o clock at night because of my work schedule, so I plan to no longer eat past 6:30 in order to help my body digest food better and not let late night contribute to weight gain.

5. Begin a workout program -The last goal I want to reach is making working out a regular part of my life. This doesn't mean every day but making it part of how I live my life week to week. I am planning on joining a gym and getting more active

This process is a long process, and it will take some time. The reason I plan to accomplish one thing at a time is because too often do I start something with so much enthusiasm, and I get overloaded and eventually it my enthusiasm fades, and I give up. With this approach I can be sure I won't get overloaded and I can complete this journey.
